1969 Convertible Near New Jersey
Hello,
I am looking for a 1969 convertible with manual transmission. No rust. Prefer power steering, power brakes. I would prefer red exterior and saddle tan interior, but will consider others. Must be within one day's driving distance of NJ where I am located so I can come out to see it and ask someone more qualified than I to take a look also. Budget flexible, but I'd rather pay extra for a car that's had a restoration done. I need it to be mechanically sound enough to be a daily driver during warmer months. Thanks! Alex |
ive got the perfect car,but its an auto trans, and by Chicago, resto almost done,[body going back on frame soon,]just needs paint
427-tripower Monza red,w-black int sidepipes 99% original and numbers matching |
Thanks for the reply, but I would really like it to be manual. Sounds like a sweet car, though!

Edit: This was a response to someone posting a listing on another site who has since deleted that post.
Looks like no power brakes from the engine bay pic. Not sure about power steering. Will call tomorrow to ask. Just out of curiosity, do you know how difficult/expensive it is to convert to power steering and brakes? |
Power steering is really nice to have. Some folks cannot tell much difference with power brakes and the manual brakes are still 4 wheel disc
and not bad. |
Still looking!

Hi Robert,
Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, I am not looking for a '68 at this time. Your car sounds fantastic, though, and I wish you the best of luck with the sale. I wish it was a '69 which would be perfect because everything else sounds great :( Alex |
Still looking! :)
