Which valve cover should I choose ?
Hi, I narrowed it down to two, i prefer the large lettered raised scrip but not available in polished aluminum the slternative is a smaller script. My motor as is. I like them both.
If going with the bottom set, what color would you paint them, or would you use as shown? That makes a difference in my response. But, overall, I'm leaning towards the top two-piece covers to match the way your engine looks. |
1st set - chromed aluminum 2 piece, although they will be hard to keep clean if you have a driver. Smaller lettering, but I like the painted bow tie.

I like the bottom one painted the color red of the body with the script left as cast but...…..
The top one matches your air cleaner and IMCO I think that would be the better choice. |

I like these but they won't work with a brake booster |

How did you do the linkage on that? Is there some sort of bellcrank in that perf metal structure?

They will if you turn the booster 90 degrees outboard and mount it under the fender (my tube-frame Grand Sport)
