Front suspension squeaks on my 85 corvette
 
my 85 corvette squeks while driving and makes noise while I drive it. What could be the problem. I was thinking the front spring and the plastic bushing are worn out. And suggestions.

Is the squeak as bad after a chassis lube?

Try lubing the sway bar bushings

I will try lubing the sway bar bushings. It sounds quieter after I lubed the spring but it still makes noise.

Inspect bushings front/rear for signs of deuteriation, including shock bushings.

I had a squeak on my 84 that was solved when I replaced the front spring. Dave

Sway bar bushings are a usual culprit, may or may not quit after heavily lubing.

I also have squeaks and would like to lube the bushings. Never done that operation on a car before, can someone explain what is needed to accomplish this? Assume I'm an idiot...
