White, Black or No Top... Decisions HELP
 

I like the black. I have the opposite of your car, black with a red interior. I have a black top. You only need the top if it rains though, so most of the time you won't see it.

My 69 came from the factory with a white top, (red with black interior). The PO put a black top on it. I just replaced it (3rd top in almost 50 years) with another black top.

Beige was also available for folding tops.

Aftermarket has any color of the rainbow but to my knowledge only black & white offered by Chevrolet

I would try to put what originally came on it, if that doesn't matter, I would go with black...I maybe partial...Although, no top is cool too....:)

My advice, for what it is worth: Light colored tops tend to show (for lack of a better word) folding frame shadow stains. I had a tan top on my C6 and no matter what I put on these shadow stains, they would not go away. Will no longer get anything other than a black top, but that is just me.

Yes. Folding top color was a no cost buyer's choice.

white makes the red POP. It gives it contrast and depth, black tends to knock down darker red

Black to match interior.

While I prefer the white top on the red body, I think the black goes better with the interior.

I'd go with white. It will be cooler in summer; and many times it will be down. I just think white over red is classy! :D
