Rejex-Ted
Used Rejex on the C6. Guess it worked OK.
Two questions: Is there a better sealant? Opinions please. Should I wait a couple of months to apply it to my new car's paint? |
No need to wait, Rejex is still a good sealant, I am sure others will chime in on what they think are better alternatives including the new rage of Ceramic Coating.

I agree about Rejex.I use it on the nose of all my cars.I learned about it when I owned a plane.
I use these 3.Rejex on nose,Collinite on remainder of car including glass and detail spray after every drive. \db2 https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...5c825394ca.jpg |
I still use the stuff and love it. Waiting for the temps to cool down here in Phoenix before I can put another coat on.

I Love Rejex!

Blackfire Crystal Seal has received favorable praise.

But last month I tried Black Fire Crystal Seal, and I won't be using Rejex any more. Couple sprays on a panel. prime the applicator with a spray, wipe it on and Leave it to dry and it's done, no wiping/buffing off. My car never looked so good. Just my Opinion and recent experience :auto: |
I'm a big fan of Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. I use Meguiars spray wax after washes here and there.

Can you use any of the products on X-pel and if so is there difference?

Couldn't find any info on the the Black Fire Crystal Sealant except it says contains no Fillers or Cleaners. But for what it's worth, I used Rejex on my C6 with Xpel for 7 years without any adverse affect. The Black Fire Crystal Sealant is wipe and leave it, and while Rejex is great, it's wipe on and buff off after it hazes. As far as any differences between the two from my experience, I tried the the Black Fire Crystal Sealant because it's faster and easier to use. And now that I tried it, Black Fire Crystal Sealant has a Noticeably better shine and lasting longer before it needs to be refreshed. Since using Black Fire Crystal Sealant, I've had the car out a couple times now in pouring rain for 50 miles or more, and the car is exceptionally clean afterwards. Same can be said when it had Rejex on it, but in comparison, there's a Noticeable improvement with the Black Fire Crystal Sealant. To put it the test, I put it on my Daily driver sitting outside rain or shine, and it's holding up better than the Rejex did. YMMV and just info for what it's worth :auto: |
Looks like Blackfire Crystal Seal has been discontinued. I wonder what it's being replaced with?
|
I don't know if there is a better sealant on the market, but I've been using Rejex every six months for about 10 years and have no reason to begin experimenting with anything else. My 2¢.

Not sure if it will be replaced, but he bought this instead and it his car looks just as good if not better. I've had the Crystal Seal on mine going on 2 months now and big improvement over Rejex. YMMV :auto: https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...95489b73cc.jpg |

I used Rejex exclusively on my C6 for ten years and was always satisfied with it. When I upgraded to the C7 I went with CeramicPro, and I like that even better so far. I would say you can't go wrong with either one.
