Buying a new ride for the wifey

What a F'ing head banging experience. Guys know what they want in a car, my wife is clueless. Fact of the matter the new Accord is perfect for her but she doesn't like the way the touch screen looks like an after thought (I agree but to not get a car for that) She want's cute but needs 4 doors for little grand chillins, looked at Camry, accord, A4, Q50, TSX. The Q being the nicest of the bunch but she'd never use any of the power of the features. Just venting!

While it's a PIA...... I'd say to go and actually drive (if you haven't) all of the perspective cars on your list. Sometimes it just takes some time behind the wheel to know what you want. Good luck!!!

I got lucky. My wife knew exactly what make, model, color and features she wanted. The hard part was finding it.

Lease her something, sounds like whatever she gets she will not be happy with in the long run

Have her take a look at the new Toyota Avalon and Nissan Maxima.

Not a lease guy, hate the restrictions but yeah would not be a terrible idea.

Just showed her the Maxima mehhh My wife drives like the little old lady she is, to pay for 300 hp, premium fuel and not great mpg for her because she doesn't like the placement of the touchscreen in the accord is well not really understandable.

My wife really likes my '19 Jeep Cherokee that I just leased , she seems to prefer it over her '14 Ford Escape Titanium.

Same boat here with my wife. She's finally, after two months, narrowed it down to a Porsche Macan GTS, RED/black interior. But she can't decide on exterior color.

Are you set on a sedan? Maybe a crossover.... something like a Q5? Women seem to gravitate towards the small/mid size crossover vehicles. Audi has one of the nicest/most user friendly MMI systems, the 2.0T has decent performance and should knock down decent fuel economy as well. Also would have plenty of room for the grand kids...... Just a thought???

Thanks, We did get a Q50. I'm one of those not SUV types, have a full size truck and truth is a car will folding seats can hold lots of stuff so we had ruled out being another one of the billions of crossover people. Pretty happy with the car. the discounts right now on this car are pretty huge. Got $10,500 off a 44k car. That's better then the C7 discounts.
