OK, it's not a car, but they're still restorations. Actually the PET is a restoration I did, the TRS-80 I found as a brand new NOS unit still in the original Radio Shack cardboard boxes!

Both started life as 4K machines but the PET is 32K now and the TRS-80 a whopping 48K.

If you know anything about old computers or the TRS-80 in particular, this is all you need to know: the little plastic door to the Expansion Unit cable is unbroken. Even the little plastic retaining tabs on it are intact. That's like finding tire nubs on a COPO ;-)

Very cool - but you should have posted in OFF TOPIC instead of OTHER CARS - more people would see it. I think vintage computers are cool.
