Cheap project
I'm looking for a project C3 i'd prefer a 1980, 81or 82 but open to other years. I'm located in North Carolina so the closer the better. Let me know what you've got.

It’s currently stripped down to primer due to it needing minor body work. I’ve replaced the entire front brakes including hard and soft lines, rotors, calipers, pads, bearings, and MC. I’m currently replacing the brakes in the rear as well as the mounting hardware for the rear suspension. Engine starts up and sounds strong. Transmission should be in working order but I’ve been unable to test due to no brakes. I’m asking $3500 but open to offers. Let me know if you have any questions. |

That does sound like a good deal but its currently out of my reach at 10k. I'll be going to look at a car I found online hopefully this weekend or early next week as long as I can get a flight back to the states.

Are you still searching for a project car? I decided yesterday to sell mine. Have not even advertised it yet. It's a 73 with an 80/81 body convertible. Rebuilt front and rear supsensions, just installed a Mustang 5 speed (aftermarket Z-spec version, rebuilt vortec heads, Carter 650 carb, C5 wheels, C5 seats... etc... To many upgrades to list at the moment with receipts for most of the parts. Car runs strong, especially with a 5 speed tranny.
I'm asking $9,000. Have about $17,000 in the car and have owned it for 20 years. Was one of the first 8,000 to register on this forum back in 1999.
