I don't see the bolt holes? Does it just bolt up in where the factory splitter was?
Can I still use my quick release license plate holder, which is fixtured into the air vent on the driver side between the body and splitter? Excellent marketing response! You guys must have noticed all the hubbub about the wear of this part lately. |

So I received the Front Splitter in the mail yesterday from EOS. Still waiting on the Side Skirts (got the side skirts in carbon fiber). I just got done installing the Splitter. Looks pretty good for being ABS hydrodipped carbon fiber. I went with this style splitter because I rub getting in and out of my driveway, hopefully I can still get in and out...... There are 13 bolts on the stock splitter, 9 of those holes line up with the new one. You have to add 4 holes. These are on either side of the openings on the new splitter. I also used 3M double sided tape. If you put all the stocks screws in just a couple of threads you end up with about a 1/4 inch opening. If you take a small pick you can peel the top off the 3M tape before you tighten the bolts. This way the tape doesn't stick before its lined up. For the 4 added holes I used the screws they supplied. If these dont hold up I will just drill out the holes and use GM plastic push clips. I don't like drilling holes but at least if I put the old splitter back.on you would never see them. Fits pretty dam good too. Here are some pics.

I have the Extremem Online Store stuff too, I baby it and it's still taken some damage, I think the worst of it was someone that stepped on it. So no reason to spend big bucks when these fit perfectly and look outstanding. My next one I will ne covering with clear bra though.

I cannot say enough about this supplier. I originally ordered the complete set, splitter ZR1 spoiler and the side skirts. While the splitter never fit correctly, I never said anything and ordered a carbon fiber one for around $400. Took over 7 weeks to get it. I had the skirts on as well as the spoiler for some time and then pulled a bone head mistake and forgot I was parked next to a island and pulled out and kit the cure breaking the right side skirt. I went on line the next day and saw that EOS had side skirts for the base in the carbon fiber look. Order a new set and had then in less then 7 days. A perfect fit and now they match the front splitter. It would be nice if they came out with the ZR1 spoiler in the same finish. Foe now I am going to try and wrap it with the 3m carbon fiber look vinyl.
Not the best picture, because the car is in the garage covered but when I can I will get a few more pictures from different angles. Final thought, if anyone is concerned about the products, because they are cheaper, if you drive the car daily, these are the way to go. They fit great, and if you do break then you can replace then and still be under what others charge for a set. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...25041eb998.jpg |

I ended up going with the raw ABS splitter and side skirts on ebay, they match the OEM plastic rear diffuser and other plastics perfectly. It was about $300 for the whole kit, at that price I'm not concerned about having to replace them down the road. I've had them on my car for two year now and look great. leaving them raw ABS I don't have to worry about rocks chipping the paint or when my passengers accidently scrape there feet on side skirts, which my wife does all the time, after 2 years there is no evidence of her shoe scraping. the fit was pretty decent, I didn't have to do any special modifications to fit, no gaps. The finish is somewhat textured like the rear diffuser. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...adb20d12cc.jpg

Mounting holes are pre-drilled and self-tapping screws will be provided. This is an excellent front chin splitter, but my Extreme Online Store ZR1 style front splitter had no pre-drilled holes in it ... Had to drill my own What's the deal with that ? https://i.imgur.com/jcY3sHw.jpg |
