Black paint, Black wheels, White caliper paint?
Has anyone seen a car with this combo? Or own one? I'm trying to look all over Google and cant seem to find one car.

Don't own one like that, but picturing it doesn't sound that good. Also, the white would not last long before becoming pretty dingy and I don't think, even with meticulous maintenance, you'd be able to keep them white for long....assuming you are talking about white/white?

Don't recall ever seeing white calipers.
But, if DIYing worth a gamble or use software and "draw" a sample. Might look good, might not. My statement might not, because there is no other white to "tie" the calipers too. And, as mentioned above, keeping clean and from discoloring may be a daily maintenance job. Again, could look very good and don't forget to blacken the word Corvette on the caliper. |

what color do you think would look best with black paint and black wheels?

I've seen a bunch of white paint black wheels and white calipers that look really nice. That's true, the color would really wear down and look dirty most of the time

I think that there is a reason why you can't find any pictures of cars like that.
|
If it's a solid type caliper (Brembo, Z06/GrandSport) white shouldn't be *that* difficult to keep clean, the faces of them are pretty smooth. But a floating type caliper (base model type) with it's rough texture and creases would present much more of a challenge.
Ceramic pads would be a MUST. |

This is just a mock up just to give you an idea. But think due to the texture of calipers that they wouldn't look clean for long. |
I have a Black/Black ZR1. No way I would ruin that look with white calipers. Red, Black or Silver would be the way to go. Someone posted above that you can't find any pictures of white. I wonder why?

I cant imagine how much it would suck to try to keep white calipers clean, haha.
|
I agree with others, you can not keep them clean and will look really nasty after just a short time. Go with Red instead.

It was just a quick thought. I have everything murdered out atm. Probably will paint them black or red

Beautiful car. I'd stay murdered out all the way and go black if it were mine.....
....and the exhaust tips too..... |
Pretty sure I recall that Spinmonster was running an ‘05 with white calipers. Looked awesome. Don’t think it was a big deal keeping things clean. Ceramic pads will make things wholly bearable. Get a nice pencil-brush and you are all set. |
I assume they're silver already? What about a nice gunmetal color. A little bit of pop, but not too much. Plus gunmetal always looks dirty so it never looks dirty
