Lumpy seat cushion pads
 

I will be going to dealer tomorrow to address warranty issues. Just checking to see if this is common. all of the other cars I have never had lumpy seat pads. The drivers seat back cushions are the worse, whereas, the seating cushions only have slight dips on both seats where the thighs rest. It should be noted that the pssgr seat is rarely used and shows no signs of wear.

Can you feel the lumps while sitting in the seats?

Unfortunately now that i know its there it is there......I found the lumps when cleaning the seats as prior did not notice it while sitting. The heating and ventilating functions fine.

I have seen a few seat bottoms as you describe in person at car shows.

For the seat back, it may be the mechanics of the lumbar support pushing through.....just a guess.

Dealer tech said the seat bottoms were normal. They replaced the lump seat back cushion and leather cover under warranty.

Stay online long enough ya see everything. "...seat bottoms were normal." Yeah, maybe for a lumpy butt! :lol:
