Corvette Conspiracy, in Cleveland Ohio, did a lot of the work on my drive train. They called me and said Super Chevy was looking for cars to feature in their Vette Magazine. The photographer, John Machaqueiro, called and we set up meeting in Voinovich Park on Lake Erie. He suggested 5:00. I said OK then found out he meant 5:00 AM. He took 2 1/2 hours to do the shoot.
That was three years ago so I figured after all that time is wasn't going to happen. Then, about a month ago, I got a call from Vette Magazine in Anaheim, California. They asked a bunch of questions and said it would be in the December issue.
It was a surprise that it was on the cover. I expected it to be a small article inside.
The cool thing is that a friend of mine owns the Black solid axle pictured below mine. ( You gotta love life's little victories )
So, I got my 15 minutes of "Corvette Fame".
