Brake pads

Who sells brake pads for the C7 that gas very little brake dust?....EBC Green pads?...

Look up Adam right here onthe forum. Coarbtech 1521 pads are the ticket.

Many brake pad threads here with hundreds of posts. No need to rehash this over and over again. PowerStops here and very happy for street use. Had the CarbTech from a forum vendor and switched them out soon afterwards for the PowerStops. The PowerStops dust a lot less than the CarbTech. The paint on my wheels were totally pitted and peeling with 1K miles on the clock that I had them powder coated.

Another vote for PowerStop Z26 brake pads. NO issues, been on the car for 20 months.

Ended up going with PowerStops and very happy with them for street use. Almost no dust and good stopping power with no squeal. Got them from Amazon also

How has the finish been since the powder coat?

Powerstop
Carbotech
Hawk

Three good options.

Powerstops here, for my 2019 GS. Looked at CarboTech, but Adam quoted me something like $450. Got the Powerstops from Amazon for $160 shipped. For my street use, they're just fine. Zero dust, too.

Drove my car 150 miles on the stock Brembos, and removed them. The inside of my wheels were already black with dust. Sold the Brembo take-offs to a forum member for $130.

Can you tell me the part numbers for the PowerStops you bought? I clicked on the Amazon links shown earlier for Z26-1718 and Z26-1408, but Amazon tells me these do not fit a `19 Grand Sport.

Just to reinforce your recommendation. I put PowerStops on my Grand Sport because they were so cheap. Removed them in 900 miles as the cold pad stopping performance was not what I needed or what the OEM pads and the Carbotech's I had on my 2014 Z51 provided for 3 years. . Others have posted similar comments. Yep, made in US quality pads cost more that those from China-but IMO well worth the price. In fact Hawk, another quality pad, is about the same price as the Carbotechs.

Z26-1405 and Z26-1718 do, in fact, fit a 2019 GS. I can confirm, as I put mine on Friday night.

I'm very pleased with the Powerstop Z26 pads on my Z51. I can drive all weekend long and end up with no visible dust on my silver painted Z51 wheels. They're also way easier to modulate than stock Z51 pads. Far less grabby and much easier to drive. No noise at all. There is absolutely no way I would spend $450 on a set of street pads. Track pads, yes, that makes sense to me. I've been there, done that.

For a high quality low dust pad I would recommend the Carbotech 1521 100% made in the USA. Non-corrosive dust will not harm your wheels or paint. You can order on line at http://ampdautosport.com/brake-pads/corvette/ or call me at 216-780-8825.

The part numbers you need are front CT1405 and rear CT1718 these will be listed under the C7 ZO6 section. Use promo code z28 at check out to receive your forum discount.
