climate control issue

Having a problem with the climate control it works for a while , lites up and then it goes out... nothing will work. Its kinda weird cause the last time it went out, it went out for a few weeks then one day it went back on after I opened and closed the hatch for the top.
Today the top was down I opened the hatch put the top up and when I went back to the car it was out.. Anyone any clue what this could be.?
thanks in advance

Google "C5 Corvette forum AC dim display"
Do you know how to solder, have a small soldering iron, and a couple hours?

:iagree:

Yep, good point Bill - I thought OP meant that the WHOLE THING didn't work (not just the display). That was the case with mine - randomly - and the ignition switch was the culprit.

Find the fuse for the HVAC Module and read the two test points on top of the fuse to ground with DC Volt Meter/ Should have battery voltage with the key ON.

Make sure its FULL Battery voltage!!!!!
