Original Spare Tire for '65?

Can someone decode this GoodYear tire date code from my 1965?

Would this have been the spare from the yellow SP had written on the outside.

Any idea what the SP means?

Other than the GM in the center I cannot find any other markings/sampings

Has to be mid-60's as the tire was made for one of these...

goodyear

Can't quite make out the entire serial code on the tire, if you could give me that code I should be able to give you the month and year tire was manufactured.

That "SP" marking was probably used by someone rotating the tires. At Firestone Tire & Rubber all manufactures got the best graded tires, none designated to be spares.

From a Mustang Heaven post of May 21, 2013 on a One-of-a-Kind 1967 Shelby GT500 Super Snake ...

"Its truly a one-of-a-kind vehicle as Carroll Shelby partnered with the West Coast distributor of Goodyear tires in 1967. During production of the GT500’s that year Shelby was approached by Goodyear to take part in a promotional event for its new Thunderbolt line of economy tires."
