Who was in the Black C7 Z06 running 140+ last night, for over 10 miles i95 PalmBeach?
 

Was on i95 south last night in my 2003 silver viper, and was amazed when a black z06 c7 went by me like I was standing still. The vette was relatively silent. Towards the end, I would guestimate he was going over 160mph. We eventually lost sight of him. He did not have Florida plates, not sure on the state.

Who was in the Black C7 Z06 running 140+ last night, for over 10 miles i95 Palm Beach county Florida? I am not a cop, just interested in knowing who this person is. They are never at cars and coffee, but this is not the first time I have seen this car out at night, speeding as if the speed limits do not even exist, long distances it seems.

I'm sure this is going to get a quick response. Any volunteers?

Worth a try, I just wanted to know so I can come out when he does so my 100mph is slow compared to his 160, and he can be the cop distraction :)

He covered over 10 miles at these speeds.

I don't understand how he still has a license or a car for that matter.

I saw the same car 6 months ago I believe, back in the spring. I thought it was a 1 time thing. But he seems to still be going strong.

The odd thing is that there were no cops on either occasion from Okeechobee blvd to Northlake Blvd. Anyway, if Knight Rider is reading this, please come to the next cars and coffee off Palm Beach Lakes blvd, and say hello :) Or if anyone knows who he is, please pass on the message.

Yeah, we know who it was. LOL. I think he lives in his own reality.

I don't want to spook the guy, but tell him to come meet us sometime. I go to the track a lot as well, mostly to spectate, never saw the car before while there. The drag-strip is the big meet-up spot at Palm Beach international raceway, everyone comes out to race each other, only costs 20 bucks for the night, unlimited runs.

Let him know I would like to meet him :)

Not a good time or place to bump it up to speeds like that. Over a distance like that and with repeated trips, it is very likely that at some point (and aside from other cars), the driver is likely to encounter some of nature's creatures out for a little walk-about. Unwitting participants involved in such an encounter could include all manner of creatures such as a family of racoons or possum, turtles, alligators of all sizes, and snakes just enjoying the warmth of the road surface --- but if he enjoys the risk, hey he should go for it (alone) --- after all, it's just his life that we are talking about.

I agree on the animals and road debris. It is concrete walls on both sides and city for the most part where I spotted him, but north of the area, you are exactly right. We have wild boars actually. It would be like hitting a 30lb bowling ball.

Around here, it's mostly deer. Almost 50,000 vehicle-deer crashes reported per year in Michigan.
