So whats this worth? 1985 IROC Z/28
New 383, holley HP Computer, Holley Stealth Ram, AFR Heads, Comp roller rockers, Eagle Rods, Eagle Crank, 4 bolt mains. Very strong motor. Three core alum radiator, dual elec fans, everthing else replaced stock. 700R4 Manual shift transmission very solid. No rust, interior is good. 135000 miles.

I meant to have more to my post, but it didn’t save with the pic. Having 20k in the car isn’t an investment, especially when trying to sell. The value and rarity isn’t there for 3rd gens yet. Nothing like the older generation cars, yet. If you were to sit on it for a long time more, you’d possibly be in a position to call it an investment. You won’t get anywhere near your money back out of it. I’ve been in similar situations before, putting more in a car than it’s worth and then selling at a loss for whatever reason at time. |

Best advice I was ever given about modified cars...you modified the car to your tastes. Now, you have to find another you with the money to buy that car.

That's a tough call. I would say in today's economy, you would get somewhere between $8k and $14k. Depends on how you sell and if you find someone that likes that combination. I like it, but I'm not crazy about those Centerline style wheels. How much do you really want for it?
