2019 Ram

Any owners? Would appreciate feedback if you own or know a owner of a 2019. My F150 is in the process of being bought back by Ford so I will be looking for a new PU soon.

Although not a 2019, my wife has a 2017 (bought new Jan. 2018) which I believe has the same drivetrain. Have not had a single problem, other than a recall that requied the computer to be reflashed. Only negative I have is the cheap and lightweight GY tires it comes with. Fuel mileage has been surprisingly good for the 5.7. She has about 14k miles on it now.

The fit and finish is good, but not perfect. Would recommend to not opt for that massive digital screen. The standard screen is large enough and let's you keep the buttons and knobs to control HVAC.

Overall, great truck!

What’s wrong with your Ford? I haven’t had a single issue with mine in 25k miles.

Vibration in the driveline between 45-55. Was in the shop a total of 40 days with no improvement. Owned Ford trucks since 1979 and this is the first one that gave me any issues. Glad Ford manned up and is making it right.

We have a 2018 diesel dually. So far, it's been a great truck.

I think one of these is going to be my next trick. Really digging them. I wish they would put a 392 in the 1500 that didnt require premium though. Not because the 5.7 isnt enough, but because I know that they have the 392.

They are really nice looking trucks...All the Rams I've had (3)have been great. Will be looking at them again in 2020 when this lease runs out on the 17...

Anyone have experience with Powerwagons?

Speaking of the Ram drivetrain, I have a 2010 here with 130K on it. It burns oil at an alarming rate. Started burning approx 1 quart per 1000 miles at 75K until it finally let go and had to be rebuilt at just shy of 100K. Unfortunately it's back to burning 3/4 to 1 quart per 1000 miles again. At this point, I'm just going to keep tossing oil at it again until it pops. It's frustrating since it has always been maintained well since new and really doesn't get used hard at all.

I don't mean to be negative and I still like the truck enough to keep it around. But depending on how long you plan to keep it, just know that not everyone has had perfect luck with that Dodge V8.

I have leased 3 ram 1500 trucks in a row '14, '16, & '19. I just leased the '19 and it is noticeably better in all categories in comparison. I never considered buying a Ram until now. I am very satisfied! You owe yourself a test drive for sure.
