Want to rent, borrow, buy LT1 engine pulling plate
 

I think that there is a special Plate that bolts to the intake manifold to pull the LT1 engine out of a 1993 C4.

Does anyone have one in the Chicago area that I can borrow, rent, buy?

Oscar, did you check with Corvette Central and Eckler's and those guys?
Maybe a club in your area might have one...
How hard would it be to make one?
When I raced hydroplanes I had a plate that bolted to
the intake manifold for just the same purpose.

I have the TPIS Happy Hooker tool and I am in Chicago.

Get a couple hooks that bolt to the corner of ea intake summit sells em for beans. Works on any engine.

I'm just worried that bolting hooks into the side of the aluminum manifold will pull out or mess the manifold up?
