These are sought-after and shouldn't be hard to get rid of. This is a very good price for one of these. Mine was closer to $500 and I don't think Tommy makes these anymore. I see them pop-up fairly often in WTB posts, though I can't say if they are wanted for earlier C4's. |

C4's were designed to run without the roof but the frame is less rigid and in some cars very noticeably so. I had an '85 that was fine without the roof, but my '90 shakes like a tire is out of balance. I had Tommy make me one for the '90 and it solved the problem.

It was smooth as silk WITH THE TOP IN after I replaced the tires and did some work to the wheelbearings and some of the bushings. But I would still get some steering wheel shake with the top out also I noticed that it didn’t grip as good when i was doing some spirited driving. With the support bar it was just as smooth and the handling was as good if not better than with the top in. I would refuse to drive without it. I paid just under $500 for mine with shipping. I upgraded to a C5 so that’s why am selling it. |
These things are hot items and your price is super cheap compared to others selling. I would change your thread title to Targa Truss brace and you will get many more hits.. my .02 I have a 93 or I would be interested. good luck with sale
