Good performing street tires
Is there a preference for tires in 315 35 17? I’d like something that has good traction and isn’t completely useless in wet weather. I looked at the Mickey Thompson Street comp but the reviews say it’s too hard and does not hook up. The other tire I thought might work for me is the Nitto nt555. Seems like it’s a good all around street tire. Any input would help, thanks! |
You sure you want a 25.7" tire when stockish is 27"
Anyway in that size I used a Sumitomo HTR Z on the back of a C5 and loved them. |

Toyo Proxies R888R maybe?
|
I used 315s for many years on 11 inch wide wheels. The F1s seemed to ware out really fast like every year and I am parked 4 to 5 months
with our limited 17 choices the nitto 555 is the best |

how much HP do you have...
Look at tread ware.... more HP ... lower Tread Ware number... |
the engine is being rebuilt, we are hoping to get 400-425 hp out of the build. Replacing the heads, cam, carb, intake and torque converter.
|
180 tread ware..
