Scan tool?
Got the dreaded "Reduced Engine Power/ Service traction control system" on the DIC yesterday so I'm looking for a recommendation for a good Scan tool. Any suggestions?

I recently had a check engine icon pop up on my dashboard so I bought a Zurich ZR8 code reader from ...gulp...Harbor Freight. The unit was less than $100. & works perfectly on my 2010 Corvette

You can also stop by just about any of the "big box" auto parts stores & they will read codes for you at no cost.,

I purchased this one and really like it so far...

I use a cheap blue tooth OBDII reader I bought off Ebay and the Torque app on my phone. Code reader and a few other fun things to play with/watch.

Pretty much anything you can buy that plugs into your obd2 port that reads codes is fine. I got mine from Advance Auto Parts. If you’re only wanting codes don’t spend big money on one. |
