tires for 67

I am going to try the diamondback blue line radials for my 67. What is the most recommended size for a stock wheel. What is the biggest that will not rub? I guess that's 2 questions. thanks for any help.

I have always run 215-70-15's on my 65. Never any rubbing issues. Some have reported rubbing at full lock with this size and go with 205's to be safe. I guess every car is slightly different.

... 215/70s on OE '67 6" wheels. At worst the left front inside shoulder might rub the steering gear carriage bolt heads at full lock, but that only happens at parking lot speeds. You should also be careful when turning into steep driveways. If you're losing sleep over this issue got with 205/75R15s.

Just to be safe go with the 205'S. I had a C-2 with 215'S & went over a small drive way curb at full lock & cracked the inner lip on the front fender.

205/75/15 are the closest. I just put a set of Uniroyal tiger paw II whitewalls on my 67. They were an OE supplier back in the day and were the most economical choice at less than $70 each.
