Blacked out tail lights on my GS!
Just installed these bad boys yesterday. Looks pretty cool I think. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...4c34fe6a68.png https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...b2804f6a94.png https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...a88bbe1464.png |

Looks good. I've always wanted those but what's the legality?
|
That’s freaking awesome!! |

In Canada, I believe it’s fine in many territories where the craze years ago was buying Knight Rider Two Thousand (Knight Rider KITT) blackout kits off EBay... |

Now all you have to do is black out the red reflectors. How do the smoked tail light covers attach?
|
Will never understand the appeal of tinted tails. But to each their own. |
So, what happens when the guy behind you runs over your car and kills you?? I was behind an idiot like you last week, almost ran over his little car with my 8000 pound truck because I had no idea he was stopping.... at least it was during the day and I could see him, if it would of been at night........
I will say it "looks kewl" at a car show but on the road not so much... |
Your back tale tale lights still come on when you step on the brakes... and at night the red tale lights stay on all the time! It's no different then the stock OEM tale lights you moron...

With clear two sided 3M tape. Very easy to install but you got to really line them up right. It seems on the side edges you can still see a bit of the OEM tale lights....

https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...673a7f31fa.png I mean, the blacked out tinted windows are not legal any ways so, the blacked out tale lights won't make much difference. As I told one poster who actually thinks you can't even see the lights, your break lights still comes on and at night, your back tale lights are no different at all then the OEM tale lights. |
Looks good.

Black rotors would be really cool.
|
Not a fan. I dont mind the blacked out look even though its played out, but take the tail lights out and smoke them with paint and do it correctly. Dont use cheap JC Whitney type stick on acrylic covers. IMO, these cars look so much better with the clear tail lights.
|
Sure is black!
|
I don't like that painted tale light look. As you say to each there own. This look makes it look Knight Rider! And I'm still a fan of that show!
