Very pretty car! Convertible LT-1's don't come around every day. If you can, post more photos; interior, chassis, bird cage if you can.....
I love these less-popular colored LT-1's! |
Looks like a nice car. Good luck with the sale.
 |
Thanks I think Orange looks great on these cars i have attached a photo of mount #2 on the passenger side it looks very dry in my opinion I have also attached one of the inside of the cage on the passenger side there was minor surface rust in that area that I cleaned off to inspect it is all good The passenger side pillar shows some minor pitting from the outside looking through the windshield It’s not significant so it could easily be cleaned up if a person was restoring the car i will need to get the car on a hoist this weekend to get photos of the chassis etc https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...9e56344ee.jpeg Passenger side inside https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...2972a3b50.jpeg #2 mount inside kick panel |
Nice Car and a very good price... IMHO it will not last too long... there are not too many comps for it...
The only other similarly priced 71 LT1 Roadster is 42k with original warbonnet paint, missing smog and is probably a high number 3 condition after being cleaned and detailed. FWIW this car presents itself much better than the Warbonnet car. GLWS. James |
was involved with one of our NCRS members in Montreal during his 72 LT1 resto same colour.
|
One of 2269 in 71 Did your friend have the car judged? |
yes it won top flight . He then sold it to another member of our chapter who sold it to a Dealer in Montreal last year
|
I’m guessing that’s the listed for 89k at John Scotti’s Looks like it turned out very nicely |
John Sctti probably bought it for less.Is yours documented. As you know 72 LT1 was in the VIN
|
No Tank sticker or POP I had shown a shot of the engine stamp to a NCRS judge and he concluded that it looked good the casting date on the block and heads are correct the M21 has the VIN on it as well. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...2b5b64ec5.jpeg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...58a18c9b1.jpeg |
