Corvette Mods refund issues
Hey guys, has anyone had any issues with CorvetteMods.com? I ordered a spoiler from them, and it came with a huge crack above the tail light area. I contacted them, and they asked for pictures which I provided, and they said to leave it outside and UPS would come inspect it. I did so and never heard anything back, and called UPS. They said they did not receive any info about the inspection. I reached back to corvettemods and they said they would ask the manufacturer. Since then, they just keep saying they are waiting to hear from the manufacturer. It’s been nearly two weeks after contacting them and I have no idea what to do. I would rather not be out 400 bucks with a broken spoiler, and at this point it almost seems like that is what is going to happen. Has anyone else had these kinds of issues with them? Any advice? |
Might try your credit card company. But do a search, many issues with corvette mods. I won't do business with them and neither will many others.

Click on this thread: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...amming-me.html or this one: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-is-shady.html Didn’t know it was there until it was too late. Lesson learned, never doing business with them again. If they don’t resolve it by Friday I’m just going to dispute them in my credit card I suppose. |
I would call up your credit card company ASAP. Good luck |

Don't wait to post dispute with your CC company. That should be your first step once a reasonable time (5-10 business days) has gone by without a response from the vendor. As an aside, when you wrote "you left the package for UPS pickup", did you get a UPS Return Label from the vendor? Without the return label, there's no way to track that the package was picked up & returned to the vendor.

Re-reading the OP a half dozen times to make sure I didn't miss anything, it seems all he said was that UPS was supposed to come back to inspect the package -- not pick it up. |
Stop payment, you learned available lesson, do not business with them, you aren't the first.
