AFB Carb Wanted

Still looking for a Carter AFB 3720 SA carb. The application is for a '64 Corvette with automatic transmission and no AC. Prefer dates from A4 to F4. Any condition will be considered. Thanks.

Don't think I have exactly what you want, but maybe close. Think I have a 4 speed 64, 250 horse. It's in storage and will take a bit to get to it. I have the intake as well. Will have to check dates. Any chance this works for you?

Dorsey, no unfortunately not. I am trying to gather up a few extra correct and original pieces for my '64. I have a 3721 SB (used on '65 PG cars) on there now and suspect that it was a replacement for the original 3720 SA fairly early in it's life. There is one out there somewhere. Thanks for the offer to look! How's your glove box door project coming? Any satisfaction from FedX?
Garry

Not sure if they are what you are looking for but on Craigslist Los Angeles there are two listed for sale under 1965 corvette in the auto parts for sale section.

Buddy, I need one for a power glide automatic and the 3721 SA is designated for a manual transmission. Many people have told me that the Carter AFB's of this vintage are essentially the same, but I was looking for one that was correct which is the 3720 SA. I did find one and it too is dated E4, so I am all set. I appreciate the offer.

sure thing, glad you found the correct one
