Corvette Forum not Forumn, sorry been driving me a bit nuts every time that interior sketch shows up. Price range is going to be wide I would guess much like it is now. Will a top trim hit $180k, who knows it just might.

They need to change the name of this place to "Gullible" Forum.
This thread is borderline TROLLING |

We are going to get the Stingray C7.5. The Zora is for the world market.
I’ve been calling for a sub forum for this particular non existant car,but they’re seems to be very little demand. Understand? |
Assuming this “leak” is true, you can bet the C7 will be sold alongside the “C8”. The Corvette brand is moving up market. |

Also, it’s possible this “leak” is a honeypot, and Zerv took the bait. Companies I’ve worked with have done this plenty of times...and we’ve caught plenty of leakers. Careful out there! |

Well, there not meant to inspire confidence, what you see on the Nurburgring is totally different than what the final vheciale will look like.
For reference, the ugly ole c7 mule (notice headlights, similar to what is seen on c8 mules running around, production lights and finishes are a wayyyy different http://www.autospies.com/images/user...c63-629655.jpg |

So, humoring this, and assuming this is true, can you tell us if GMs intent is for this to be a very exclusive car that is hard to get an allocation, or will it be the type of thing anyone can walk in and place and order at any GM dealer? If it’s the latter, that will certainly give it something over the Porsche’s in that price bracket, assuming it performs and looks the part. |
Why don't the mods lock stupid trolling threads like this? I think I 'm going to start making lame threads with zero proof like I see here....geez...Just to get everyone panties in a bunch... :O

The ONLY way a starting number that high would/could/can be possible is that this is an entirely new car and the traditional (relatively affordable) front engine Corvette evolves and lives on.

As I was asked what I thought... GM has witnessed the pricing debacle of the current Gen NSX. When the C7 came out, it’s first year penetration of the sports car class it is in was 44% (now down to just under 40%). My guess is that GM has an internal C8 goal of over 50% of 2020 sports car sales (again within its sales group). Here’s how they will accomplish or blow away that figure? Price next year’s ME appropriately! Zerv02’s $169K price prediction would be accurate for the 2022 ZORA version, with its 800 HP combustion motor and its within-the-front-wheels electric motors, e.g, 1,000 HP. For 2021, my best guesstimate is that the 800 HP, 5.5L, 32V, DOHC, TT V-8 Z06 equivalent version (maybe called the Manta Ray or ???), would start at $99,000 For next year, my best guesstimate is that the mid engine Corvette will have an no-option, entry MSRP a tiny touch of under $70,000. For those who are saying it would be $85,000 to start or more, they would be correct, however IMO they are including, excellent-to-have features but which will not however be in the entry car, instead being significant extra-cost options (a la the Porsche pricing model). Could there be an out-the-door 2020 ME with a $100K+ price, not even counting taxes and taxes, if fully loaded? I believe so. |
The fully loaded "Zr1" equivalent - sure.
From what I have seen of the new design though, it looks more like a new base level Chevrolet car…Explain the steel brakes, narrow tires, and conservative styling…. |

@Zerv02, I was kinda on your side with some of your previous interior posts but this one is just too far out there......
|
I'm out. Gonna order a Yaris instead.
