The Number#1 Do-It-Yourself Paint Protection Kits Since 1996

It’s not if, it’s when…
Unfortunately your beautiful Corvettes curves come at a cost. Certain areas of your paint are very vulnerable to being showered by rocks and getting chipped up. Cleartastic’s pre-cut kits create an invisible barrier protecting your paint from what could be an expensive day out for a cruise.

CleartasticŪ now has kits specifically developed for older gen corvettes too! These kits like all of our kits are designed so anyone can apply them and get professional results! Each kit comes with easy step by step instructions. Applies in minutes!
CleartasticŪ is a clear high end flexible film that helps protect your delicate paint from chipping, scratches & stains. The film has “Self-Healing” Characteristics so scratches & swill marks will vanish automatically overtime! The new film also has stain resist properties. This all adds to a longer lasting better looking film.

Unlike the prior film this new CleartasticŪ film has adhesive making it a "Set & Forget" application. Apply it once and it will provide years & years of protection. Smooth as glass appearance helps make it invisible once applied. Wash & wax over the film simply treat it like your paint. A great alternative to mud flaps/guards.

I installed the Cleartastic kit on my C7 and it came out great. I'd never done anything like that before and it really wasn't that difficult.

Installed mine a few days ago and I have nothing but good things to say. Applying the film is simple, and the fit & finish is great……

This product gets the job done. Support our small business vendor, Ed is a great guy and does not release a kit unless it is perfect. Very simple to install if you follow the directions. I have bought 4 kits from TKO and it was money well spent.

I had them on when I first got my Z. you can't beat the protection for under hundred bucks. The area behind the front wheels was a bitch to put on while the rest was a piece of cake.

I met some people at corvette car shows that had their entire car covered with this product. It looked great and I could not tell it was on.

Great product, EZ install. Imperfections (from a novice installer like myself) usually disappear after curing as well as being in the sun..... Used it on my C6

I have used their products and I like them. I just put on a set of the rear quarter panel pieces and they turned out good and provide protection where you need it.

Only kit I got from ClearTastic is the one for the leading area of the rear fender area just behind the doors. They were cut perfect and went on like they said they would. Gotta see what other cars they make products for.

How about C1?

fberus 01-16-2019 11:20 PM

If you made a reproduction of the factory convertible deck protector on '94 - '96 Corvettes, GM part # 12524512, I know several people who would buy one - including me.

Are all the C4 convertible deck lids in that area the same. Or did they change it in 94?

Good question. There was only one part number change for the C4 convertible deck lid. The number changed between the '88 and '89 model year. '89 through '96 all used part number 10276994 and the C4 parts catalog I have states that the 12524512 protector is for '89 to '96 deck lids.

Thank you.

As for the part, if I could get my hands on a template, the answer would be Yes. We would make them in a heartbeat with our film. .
