parting out my '85 Corvette.. parts list inside
 

hey what's up.. i'm starting to part out my '85.. the body has no cracks in it.. i would rather not ship the hood outside California as it is a big piece to box up..

I can take exact pics of each body panel but the car is very straight (just doesn't run)

the pieces are black.. i'll take offers, first person to show decent cash gets the part

The hood is not cracked. What you see is paint peeling. It was originally blue but the paint is cheap and has now oxidized (clearcoat is separating).

I can deliver to anywhere in Southern California and will drive 2 hours north to Bakersfield to meet you if you live north of here. The second picture shows a small spot of very minor damage. It is not through the hood, almost like a big rock flew up and hit the hood :eek:

sorry, I dont.. it has the opaque smoke top but it is cracked so I will be junking it unless someone wants it for like 5 bucks to mess around with..

I need a few things. Since vette2vette never got back to me. what color is your interior? I need new door panels and POSSIBLY some carpet. My passenger side headlight has got a bad case of the blinks and my antenna dosent go down. Those are a few things I need. Let me know what you have. And pics would be super nice.

The passenger side headlight motor works fine. I'll sell you that if you want. My antenna is bad, i think. Someone bent the shaft badly so I don't know if the motor is still good or not as it won't move (too bent).

The interior at one time was tan, but it was dyed black. The seats are in decent shape but need to be redyed. I'll pull them out for you on Tuesday afternoon and take pictures. If you'd like, I can dye them black again to show you before/after (ie. dye only one at a time).

The headlight motor works, but I believe the plastic/nylon bushing is cracked as the motor tries to work but the headlight doesn't always move correctly.

If you'd like, I can pull the motor out of the hood and try to see if the bushing is what is keeping the headlight from rotating. It works intermittently, as I flipped it on and off like 4-5 times but it hung up once. I'll check TopDownSolutions and see if he has any of the bushings in stock. I know he carries 88-96.

Everything is up for grabs so make me decent offers and I won't refuse. The whole car's gotta go :)

Sure, I would like to see pics of the interior and seats. Im not sure if I need the entire headlight assembly or not, I dont think I do. what about your center console lid, color, does it work? Do you have the stock sawblades?

I have the stock wheels, here is a shot of them.. i don't know if they came from the factory chromed or not but they are in reasonable shape. The tires are Remington, and look brand new (basically, zero wear).

I will sell the wheels without tires if you guys want. They are 16".

center console lid is no good.. here is a picture of it, sorry for the darkness.. i took these pics at night last week..

the vinyl is peeling up on the lid and it is cracked, junk.. the rear storage compartments are there but i haven't seen what's in them or if they are cracked.. who knows, i might find a stash of body parts :jester

Colin: Sorry to see you have to part it out.

I'll take the glass top for $5 if your serious on that offer :D
I can use it as attempt #2 at a bike rack for the vette ;).

Let me know when most of the car is gone. Depending on $ I may be interested in rolling chasis like I mentioned...

Top: Sold for $5 to the only bidder.

You get first shot at the rolling chassis. I'm seriously considering installing the rear into my Vega. I think it can be done :cheers: It's a popular swap for Z-cars although I'm looking at some expensive work to narrow it (~750-1000$)

i don't know about teh radio.. it was in the car when i got it but the previous owner took out all of the speakers (either that, or they are disconnected)

it look slike the BOSE stereo is still there, but not hooked up.. I'll sell you the deck for like 25 bucks if you want it.. it is a Sony XPlod!
