Last winter I bought new tires for my C-3 from the local garage I was using for all my cars. they were not thrilled about working on my 77. after they mounted the tires on my American racing 200s they were afraid to balance them for fear of breaking a rim. Travelled up to close to moyock and same response from 4 other shops including one which claimed to be a corvette specialist. Please note i did not go to dream Restorations in Moyock. came back down 158 to R&R. They were quite happy to balance my tires and did a good job. they have since done work on all my cars and I am glad to have found them. They fixed my insurance agent's c-3 after another place botched the job.

Thanks David, that is really good to know. They may be well out of the way for many of us here in eastern NC, but for folks traveling near the Outer Banks during tourist season, that knowledge could be very useful! :thumbs:
