Loyds Mat - new connector for post setups?
Hey Guys,
Just a quick question. I ordered mats that came with THIS hook on the bottom (Picture #1) but I have the post setup in my 2005 (Picture #2). The seller is telling me that Loyds makes that setup for posts? Is that true? I was expecting the mats with plastic "hole" to slide over my post... https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...fc85a86efb.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...11206c6394.jpg |
It's true, I just received my Lloyd's 'post' type mats and they were like your 1st picture. They work fine, no problems attaching to the 'post'.

My LLoyd mats are like the pic on the left also. I've had them for close to 5 years. They attach fine and stay in place. The 05 through early 07 have the posts and the late 07 and newer years have the hooks.

I bought Lloyd's mats in 2014, they had the hole through them.
I bought another set last spring and they had the tabs. I prefer the hole type because they're faster to put back in, but not a big deal either way. |

I'm on my 3rd set of mats for my 07. The first set had white nylon tabs that held up very well. Wore the mats out. Second set was like the one posted and only lasted 2 years before the tab broke. Still using 3rd set but have a broken tab in less than a year.
Won't buy a 4th set. |

at first i was a bit disappointed but they sure do look cleaner. |
Lloyd makes luxury mats. Post hole fasteners won’t do. |
