MCR Corvettes Las Vegas

Hey guys,
I'm a new C3 owner. I've searched locally for a reputable independent shop to handle anything that is beyond my capabilities to service. It seems that MCR Corvettes is the only Corvette specialist in the Las Vegas valley. Does anyone here have experience with them? I trust the opinion of folks here over Yelp reviews, etc.

Thanks!

Pm'd

For other readers, I have a shop in Boulder City and would like to initiate some relationships with Corvette guys that need someone reliable, well experienced and safe to work with. I've only been in the area a short time, but from what I've observed, getting reliable work done, at a reasonable cost in Las Vegas, appears non existent. I don't seek to service a lot of cars, but instead would like to have a small group of clients only. I can do anything from repair, to full custom one-off forced induction systems, builds, etc.

PM me if you'd like to discuss a project or repair.

I will definitely be in touch.

There are 2 shops in town that are well known to classic Corvette owners. Contact Jim Gregorio at Vettech at 702-523-8697 or Chad Foster at Extreme Street Performance at 702-332-8493. Both are extremely knowledgeable in classic and newer Corvettes. You might also want to join the NCRS in Las Vegas as they have a lot of contacts for anything you may need as well as a chance to meet other classic Corvette enthusiasts. FYI, both Chad and Jim are NCRS members as well. Hope that may help in the future for you.

Thank you for that!
I hadn't considered joining NCRS, as I thought that was reserved for individuals looking for pristine show cars or for those looking for to restore to the highest level.
I'd like to keep my car as stock as possible, but it'll never be a show car. I look into it for sure. I'd like to meet some local folks to point me in the right direction.

So I did wind up joining the National NCRS for the publications and access to the technical forum.
I also met with Chad Foster of Extreme Street Performance. He seems like a responsible business owner who does right by his customers.

YO KITT, Merc5 here aka Marc Mercury.
Read your post and lived on LV since 73. I need a new fly wheel on my 69 C3 . I replaced it in 1993 25 years ago. Of course the clutch as well. I am 71 now and would like to attempt it again because this car is a part of me and it is psychologically eating at me just sitting for the last few weeks since i got it started. I am buying all the necessary parts, Clutch kit , fly wheel etc and kind of preparing it for a mechanic other than me since i do not have a garage.

Anyway what would you estimate if possible for above job and how intimate are you with working on 69 corvette clutches. ?

Hey Marc...I'm pretty overrun with my business (I do commercial advertising and financial coaching), and I'm in the midst of relocating shops. My ol' buddy Nick and NXS (number shown above in that list) will definitely do well by you. He is very well experienced and has had a lot of Corvettes. He is the only one on the list I can vouch for, and he would be plenty capable. Nice clean shop, no issues, etc. He'll get it done too, no time wasting.

Tell him Damian sent ya, and that I gave my word he'd take good care of you.

I have a 74 corvette that needs collision repair.Where is your shop

KnightDriveTV 08-10-2021 10:55 PM

No public services anymore, switched to full manufacturing only. Call NXS up above and tell him Damian sent you. He does good work and it'll be done a+ but...it'll be market rate 100%.
