1972 corvette wanted 4 speed wanted
Hi all I am new to this forum , however been reading posts for awhile and it seems great .. I am in the market for a 1972 C3 Corvette .. This is my criteria… Steel city gray, 1st choice , could be Other colors but no white or green 4 speed , Black interior only, 350/200 hp , good to very good paint does not have to be show quality ,numbers matching a must ,75 to 80% original, clean birdcage and frame a must , must be very Straight no bodywork, Must have tilt, power steering and power brakes will travel if necessary.. Just a nice salad driver… I live in the New York are. I am very patient and will wait for the right one to come along… I am a cash buyer and this will be my 3rd Corvette that I have owed… Range is 20 to 30k.. thank u everyone ,Hope to hear from you soon |

You may want to consider a 71. They also came in Steel Cities Gray.

You should be able to find a VERY nice original paint low mileage coupe or even a roadster for that kind of money... if 20-30k that is your total budget then make sure to plan to spend 2-4k in bushings bearings brakes seals etc in your budget... plus labor if not performing the work yourself.
Most of these bumper cars if in good original condition have sat in garages for years and in order to make them serviceable and relaible they need these maintenance items performed. |
