1968 Gorgeous Red 327/300 AC car

For sale is my 1968 Rally Red Corvette! This beauty has an original numbers matching 327/300 automatic TH400 drive train. AC was added last year using the original one piece vent/bezel, along with C5 red/white leather heated/lumbar seats, and a beautiful wood steering wheel and chrome ididit tilt steering column. The paint has been clay barred, and coated with the bulletproof ceramic coating and the shine is so deep it looks wet. The only area that isn’t working is the rear fiber optic however I have the new harness which will come with the car. All upgrades can be reversed with the original equipment which has all been restored to new condition. In addition, I have the original paperwork, warranty plate/owners manual, tank sheet, and keys...making this car a certain jaw dropper and show stopper!
Im asking $49,500 and I’m willing to negotiate up to a point. I will not give this beauty away or whole sale her. I will do my best to post pictures showing pre and after work, and answer questions.

Nice Vette

I’m partial to 68 Rally Red Vettes as I have one. This looks like a really nice example. My end Vin is 405567, I’m curious if this a early build. Looks to have most of the factory parts in place.
Good luck with the sale.

Looks like an early build based on the low location of the seat releases and the lack of door panel pull loops.

I saw the lack of pull loops but don’t know if we can trust that. I see power window switches and also hand crank windows in place on the panels.
Still a very nice Vette

I have a 68 t-top that looks very similar. I love your seats and was thinking of doing the same thing. What year seats do you have. They look great, were they any easy instal? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Beautiful car!!

This is a February 20, 68 ...center console switches are lumbar support for the C5 seats. I have the original unmolested center ebrake console for the owner that wants the car to be original. In fact ALL CUSTOM CHANGES CAN BE PUT BACK TO ORIGINAL. I have the original equipment...including the steering wheel and stereo/ speakers etc...
thankyou all for the comments and please pass along if you know anyone looking!
Happy Thanksgiving Corvette Forum

Price Issue

Greetings, after being notified about the price of my car I realized that I typed the price incorrectly and have adjusted the price accordingly.
I apologize and the one person who has expressed interest will get the car if they chose at the advertised price.
To answer the question about the seats...they are C5 corvette seats using the original seat tracks along with aftermarket heaters and lumbar system, as well as the C5 foam kit which made them not sink and tear through the wires. Not hard to do, right fit but boy are they comfy.

I sincerely apologize for my mistake...if I left it there would be no room for negotiation.
Thank you for your understanding
Rick Downes
