How many keep/park theirs outside all the time?

Ran into a friend of a friend, 2017 Porsche 911 Turbo, was clean but could tell it looked a bit weathered. Then he said leaves it parked outside of his place, and I said to myself oh that's why it appears not new as it should. He lives in TN, so not too bad but still freezes there.

It's worth what $100-150k?

Made me think about how many newer ZR1 owners keep theirs outdoors that don't live in a warmer climate?

:iagree: Also, just my opinion. These cars aren’t designed to be driven in snow. If you are somewhere they use salt.... its a disaster for any kind of metal, especially aluminum among the non ferrous. . I dont take out cars I care about until several good rains clean off salt residue on the road in the spring. Just me...

I agree with DEB just say no!
Even back when I was making 4.09 an hour living in a some ones rental and had little. I still rented and kept my rides in a garage.
Now I have 11 stalls to work with.

Please take special note of the car in the top pic. The rear end view shows that GM just left the tow strap hooked up to this poor puppy and threw its end up on top of the trunk lid. There is one other explaination for that strap: there could be an anchor hooked to it to throw out to help during emergency stop situations. You will find out that while those huge footprint tires dont accerate well in snow, they stop even worse. 50 years of driving in every kind of snowy condition is my guide. Trust me. 😁

He should be reported to the abused sports car authority.
