If you are somewhere they use salt.... its a disaster for any kind of metal, especially aluminum among the non ferrous. . I dont take out cars I care about until several good rains clean off salt residue on the road in the spring. Just me...

Please take special note of the car in the top pic. The rear end view shows that GM just left the tow strap hooked up to this poor puppy and threw its end up on top of the trunk lid. There is one other explaination for that strap: there could be an anchor hooked to it to throw out to help during emergency stop situations. You will find out that while those huge footprint tires dont accerate well in snow, they stop even worse. 50 years of driving in every kind of snowy condition is my guide. Trust me. 😁
