1995 6 Speed New Motor $8300 North Carolina

Buy Yourself a Christmas Present. If you don't want people to notice you, thumbs up, waves from fellow Corvette owners than this car isn't for you. If you would like to enjoy driving and have a conversation piece wherever you go...keep reading.

I've had the car 3 years and loved every minute. It had a "one thing led to another" repair and now it has a new Longblock ( 3 year warranty) with less than 900 miles on it. Basically, the cost of the engine and all the new parts that went with it is on credit cards and, at 67 years old, have 3 other cars, and I don't want to carry that debt. The car itself has 178800 miles on it but there's practically nothing that has to do with driving and running that isn't new or recently replaced.

Here's what's new - long block, clutch (DMF), opti, opti vent hoses, radiator hoses, idler and tensioner, MAF, water pump, alternator, plugs, wires, coil, control module, all sensors, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, Flowmaster cats, brake hoses and fluid was flushed, O2 Sensors (AC Delco) center console and radio surround, outer tie rod ends, Continental ($900) all season tires with less than 3,000 miles on them, rear glass weatherstripping (expensive one after the cheap one tore). Everything works, all gauges, windows, locks, radio, cd, cassette, speakers, antenna, cruise control, cold A/C, hot heat, new polarized film for speedo readout, and there's probably something I forgot. It has two tops ($400 to buy on its own) and an OBX cat-back exhaust. The 6 speed ZF has new Amsoil lube in it as does the rear.

The car is stable and smooth at 105 mph (fastest I ever went with it). This is a turn-key, drive as it is, for years, Corvette. It's a driver for me not a show-car and it's 23 years old so not perfect but driving is really what they are built for and that it does better than most any C-4 in this price range.

Astute observers will notice sport seat bottoms. I find them more comfortable for my old bones but the standard seat bottoms are actually a little nicer and are included. Southern car from new.
