I am without words!

I might get words if I knew what you were talking about.

You are facing North
You have almost a full tank.
You have driven the car a total of 319 miles
You have 328 miles (Approx) left to drive on this tank of gas
You are stopped.
Idling at 650 RPM
In V8 mode
Temp around 200
OIl pressure 26 PSI
In SPORT mode
Car is cold per the tach but the temp says warm is that the problem?

fuel gage. left my house, gage was reading 1/4 tank. I was 99% sure I had just put gas in it the last time I drove it and it should have been at least 3/4's. I was going for 80 mile drive so I stopped to put $20 in. it would only take $19. when I turned car back on, gage pinned itself on E.

ant812 11-26-2018 10:17 AM

man I am an idiot. im deleting this. read the gage wrong. im leaving now with my tail between my legs.

What are you talking about??? Look at the photo again...Not resembling your statement.

Blame it on the booze, your age, or the woman in your life!

Parcival 11-26-2018 10:19 AM

If it helps, this happened to someone else earlier this year.

Your initial post was confusing so you can work on that?

falcon5619 11-26-2018 10:19 AM

Were you assuming that you would get 500 miles on a single tank of gas?

ant812 11-26-2018 10:21 AM

in my defense, I have never seen a fuel gage that reads right to left, EVER!

I can get it to read 514 miles remaining but it never gets that far. I either get off the interstate or I have to pee. My old tank can't last 514 miles til it is at "burst" mode.

I think the thing to do is bring it to the dealer and have it fixed. Then again maybe you should get rid of it or look into the NY lemon law and see if you can get out of it as fast as possible. This is probably the beginning of many problems with this car and if I were you I wouldn't drive it.

Don't you mean left to right?? Full is on top and moves to the right as you are driving.

I did the same thing when I took mine out for the test drive. I said to the salesman "Well at least there's a full tank of fuel" and he said, "No, it's almost empty."

eboggs_jkvl 11-26-2018 10:25 AM

Does this have anything to do with righty tighty - lefty loosey?

eboggs_jkvl 11-26-2018 10:25 AM
