1969 engine block 3932386
im looking for an early 69 engine block 3932386 with a casting date of September to November 1968 if anyone has one kicking around in rebuildable condition. |

I found one on eBay but it’s casting date is dec 68 it’s selling for 500 |
Hey Phathom, I saw one on craigslist. It was in Portland OR just two days ago. Block casting date Oct 10 1968. I remember it because that is the very birthdate of my 1969 roadster. looked like a 300 horse stamp.

Great date...I’m going to check one out on Sunday locally supposed to have a November casting date with standard bore I’ve got my fingers crossed. |

I’m looking for a 386 block |
I have a 3932386 bare block 4 bolt 2482 nodular main. These nodular main blocks are correct for the L46 350 and the DZ 302) It is dated I-11-8. (Sept 11, 1968) I had dropped it of at my machinist a while back to have it tanked magnifluxed for cracks. He reported it came back clean no cracks. I told him to clean the bores and deck the surface to make it easier to sell. It is currently .030 over on the bores. Some cylinders do have a ridge. It will need to go either .040 or .060 depending of course how far out the bores are. I can sell it as is or wait for him to prep the block for a rebuild. These are heavy castings and a .060 bore is not an issue. I can strap to a pallet and ship terminal to terminal YRC for less than $200 depending on your location. If interested PM me. I also have a 3927184 intake manifold dated I-7-8. I am located in Oregon.

I have 386 block dated J 12 8---Thinking $350.00 plus the trip (likely less than $100.00)
Suffix code is HK (350/300 auto full size car) do not know bore as it is a complete assembled engine Let me know your interest and I will inspect/measure excellent running engine when pulled from a '69 Vette I parted out Have the 186 heads, front timing cover, oil pan, etc., etc George text 210 748 4693 |
