Good all weather/decent handling tire?
 
I am looking for decent ride quality and handling tires, that are decent in cold/warm/hot weather. The pilot super sports, and cup 2's arent working for me.

Any input on Hankook V12's?

Any other decently priced tire avaliable in our sizes you'd recommend?

Go with the continental extreme contact sport, I swapped from cup 2 to the conti's and absolutely love them, they are all season tires but the handling is great for spirited driving, ofc they are not on the Cup'2 level but they try, I also have the DSC controller on my car which improved the handling by alot. The conti are also very very very comfortable on the road and it will make you feel like you are in a new car when you swap the tires but since they are non runflat you will need to carry a patch kit and a small pump in the car in case anything happens. Their around $1200 to $1400

The ExtremeContact Sport's are summer tires not meant for cold weather. I haven't tried any of the all weathers but it seems that the consensus on the forum is the Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires.

My bad I thought they were all season, they handle pretty good at 50 degrees here in Cali but havent been in colder weather

Have the AS3+ on my Z. Weather into the teens and car still feels solid. Drove in rain and snow over the last month and never an issue. I have done 40mph pulls and they hold.

I don’t drive mine if it wet or cold soi go with Nittos NT05r in the rear and NT05 in the front. They are a soft rubber compound for better grip under dry warm conditions. I guess that’s assuming you don’t drive yours in the cold either. Gl

I just put mich As3 run flats on 16 Z06 they are quiet and better riding than summer only tires that came on it.
I have less than a hundred miles waiting till I get it aligned up. Oh and I have 3 bent rims no dukes of hazard here, I'm in Ga.

+1 on the AS3 +.... They've been great in cold/wet... And no more skipping backing out of the garage!

My Z06/Z07 had the Cup 2 on it when I bought it, so I bought another set of rims and bought the Continental Extreme Contact DWS06. They are an all season high performance tire. I haven't driven mine in winter weather yet, but tires are very good in wet conditions in 5060 degree temperatures. They are not run flats however. I have a CTS-V coupe as well and am looking at the Michelin AS3+, to see the difference.
