The zero pressure pilot super sport IS the grand sport stock tire.

When my Forgeline wheels show up I'm going with the Michelin A/S3 + ZP....
It doesn't get that cold here in Dallas but these stock GS summer only tires get hard as a rock when the temp starts dipping...

Am I correct in thinking these are run flat tires?

where are you located? if you don't need an all season tire, stick with OEM PSS.

Miss Jen, for your reading pleasure here is my experience with non-run flats. I purchased a set of non run flats for my '07 C6, because at that time the Goodyear run flats were better titled run-craps. I was tired of the hard ride, and the road noise from those tires. So I bought a set of Firestone's, and off I went happy as a June bug. They rode great, and were very quiet for that size of tire. We left for a cross country road trip, and all went well for the 5000 mile trip. But, for approx. 4000 miles I couldn't get the thought out of my mind "what was I going to do if I had a flat". I had with me all the stuff to plug and inflate the tire, but the thought of needing that stuff on an Interstate, or a lonely back road kept floating through my thoughts. When we got home I decided that I would never buy a non run flat for any of my Corvette's again. I need that peace of mind to make for a much better road, keeping all those negative thoughts out of my head. Just my humble thoughts.

Mich isn't the only tires for the C7.Other good options depending on RF or not.

If you are driving in cold but, not freezing weather all seasons are a good replacement in RUN FLAT

I understand completely. I have 84,000 on my car and have had 5 flats. All but two were in situations where non zero pressure tires could not have been plugged even if I carried a kit.

There are darned few places in the continental US where temps don't get below about 60' for at least part of the year, which is about where the AS3+ grip better; and many get below the 40' where the PSS really fall off.

Another factor that may or may not matter to the OP, is that the lower cost combined with longer life of the AS3+ can result in a tire-cost-per-mile that's about half of the PSS.

I like 'em both, PSS in summer and AS3+ in Fall/Winter.

I am not thrilled with the Michelin Super Sport on my GS. The traction is very good on dry but suck in the rain. Once they wear out I will moveto non run flat Continental touring tire. These have become the new tire of choice in our club.
