FX3 Bilstein shocks PN please

Hey All, I need to some help with some part numbers for bilstein shocks that fit my 91.

I need Bilstein part numbers for front and rear Bilstein adjustable shocks with a FX3 suspension.

A forum member has a set that I'm super interested in and I just want to double check numbers. Thanks!

Why not wait and get a fresh set when Bilstein releases the next batch? No point in getting old shocks that are probably internally worn and out of their service life.

I think Summit has them for $250. You can shop around but I haven't seen them go for less than $200. Give Summit a buzz. What do you expect for a lifetime warranty? They didn't even bother to test them before they sent out a new set when I had a leaky shock and sent in the other one.

I believe if you're wanting to buy from an individual you want the numbers from the shock tubes as well as the box top'!! I'd want snapshots to confirm the tops also!

Summit doesn't have stock, tirerack is on back order. Nobody has these shocks new. Bilstein is updating the shock and it was supposed to be released in October, but that date has been pushed to December and likely to be after the new year.

I thought I read somewhere Bilstein can rebuild them and warranty them.

Yes but why is it so cheap compared to the new ones? Ask why they are being so good to you. It is probably because the warranty is lacking

I paid for new ones and 10 years later ,when 1 of the 2 fronts leaked, I got a pair of new front shocks. IDK if the cheap service will do it for lifetime.

Not anymore. They have slowly been phasing that service out on the FX3 shocks over the past few years. Parts were no longer available. Feel free to call Raul and ask him about the rebuild options.

This is true. New Bilstein FX3 shocks are unavailable and the parts guys have had them on back order for months. I call around and the parts houses keep "sliding" delivery dates as Bilstein keeps delaying.

Even rebuilding is a bad option. From what I understand, Bilstein will rebuild old shock but the process is weeks and is a low priority in their internal system.

Probably low priority since there are so few cars using that old system so they run it in a batch.
