Hello Mike,
12,000 Vettes being delivered at the Museum is an impressive number considering the how long they have being doing deliveries there. Another great week of throwback Corvette photos. The photos this week are my favorite group this year. There are many outstanding photos! I have a hard time picking a favorite. But I will go with this one since it is local to me. I instantly recognized the buildings in the background I went by that building Friday night. It is in the part of downtown Oklahoma City called Automobile Alley due to the numerous old car dealer ships that were locate there at one time. Some of the buildings still have there large neon signs attached to the building and lit. All of the dealerships are gone, and the buildings have been converted to other uses. Many of the buildings were covered in Christmas lights Friday nigh and was a neat site to see. It is one of many neat areas of OKC. A man I worked for right out of college, who was my sister-in-laws step father, his father owned an Oldsmobile dealer ship on Broadway in downtown. Have a great week and Merry Christmas. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...07e8e4c5f5.jpg |
Thanks for all the great photos this week. Congrats to all the new owners. I think this one will do this week.

Mike, Great Thread.
this pic always gets me... something you'd expect to see in some backwoods work shop not the Corvette plant lol https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...51937154f2.jpg |

My boss actually said that to me when I showed up to work in my 69 Stingray. He didn't fire me though....lol

My favorite is the white 1963 coupe with the Florida tag. Runner-up has to be the yellow C3 ZL1. |
