Bought Mama a new truck for Xmas

Now she won't be so crabby when I get a Vette
Sticker was a tick under $50G. I had the dealer put some 22's off a Suburban for another $2G.
Out the door for $36 G
Best deal I've ever got on a new truck. There are no new vettes at this dealer for some reason. Miller Chev ,Rogers MN. But they have 167 2018 1/2 tons. That's Minnesota for ya

I bought a new truck in May so I'm good on trucks for now. Now I can really concentrate on finding my Vette

 Very sharp looking Silverado!

GM has some great deals going on now on the 2018 trucks, as the next generation is launching for 2019.

Disclaimer: Next generation does NOT always mean better than the model it is replacing.

Nice truck, Chevy is running some really cheap deals on Silverado, not sure if it's to make room for the new generation, or if it's just because the new f150 and ram are doing so well.

I saw a few 6.2L ltz midnight's for like mid 40s loaded out, but still no push button start. It's stupid, but I cant ser spending that much and not getting that, especially when an equivalent tam, f150, or titan would have it.

Anyways, good luck with your new truck. Looks like a nice one at a great deal.

I can live without push button start to save 16 grand.
never had it before so it's not that big of a deal to me.
Besides that Ford and Dodges are junk😊😆
so are nissan

For 16 grand, I could too!

What would really be a nice addition IMO would be HUD. When I drove my Colorado I constantly have to keep checking down on speed, but in the c6 I can just look at the HUD and never have to take my eyes off the road. Plus I can get a lot of the other info I want right up there. GM has this tech. Why it isnt in the trucks is beyond me.

Always takes me a few months to adjust to a change in body but there is no way I can see myself adjusting to the new style.

I see the same ignorant comments about GM on the F150 forum. I don't understand blind brand loyalty. My 2015 FX4 F150 Supercrew Lariat has only been back for one warranty issue (IWE, which appears to be a somewhat common F150 issue) and is pending the seatbelt pretensioner recall. The F150 best suited my needs when the time came to say goodbye to the 2002 Z71 Avalanche I owned for 14 years. The Avalanche was a great truck, but so is the F150 so far.

How about the very common GM 1/2 ton truck drivetrain vibration issues? Great quality there. All of the manufacturers have their issues, so I simply don't understand deriding a certain manufacturer. And yes, you are entitled to your opinion.

Rubber band tires don't belong on a truck.

Wait until the 3/4 tons come out next year. They look even worse . Like a cross between a Tonka truck and a walrus
