I hate to say this but this is not an original challenge car......it's a clone with challenge car parts on it.....Jr never drove this exact car....and this car was not raced in the series

Yes.....I would probably list it as a challenge car clone if it were me...and that the engine was gone though in the early 2000s but he may not know that....I know alot about this car since I drove it everywhere in the Dallas area when I worked for Young chev.it had spun a rod bearing and was freshned up back then.....the only famous driver that ever drive this car was Bob bondurant at a track day for just a few laps...I was in the car with him

Man is there any way we could talk on the phone the man who I got this car from is deceased and I bought it from his daughter he owned a car dealership and used it for his advertisement. I dont want to sale it but hate puting miles on it and posted it to find someone like you to please help me thanks

Yea its been troublesome using this forum on my tablet and fishy yes young Chevrolet did such a good job haveing the rutherford challange parts on that I thought it was the original car but its as close as you can get
