Saw this device, want to know what it is
 

I was watching Tokyo Drift the other day, right at the end there was a shot under the hood of some car (don't know what it was), and I saw a rod with heim joints at both ends, one end on the engine head and the other end on the fender. I gather this reduces / prevents the engine from moving or rocking under heavy throttle, but I can't figure out what it's called or how to search for one. I'm curious for my own automotive edification! Can someone tell me what they call this?
