MTI 1000hp Package Build
Figured I would post some build pics of this project that we are in the stages of building. We chose the F1a-94 for this build. We had the intake coated to match the body color. Turned out real good.
Package Specs -Procharger F1a-94 -10 Rib Drive -MTI Custom Cam Kit -CP Rods and Pistons -MTI Lowside Fuel System -Mantic Tripple Disc Clutch -Meth Injection https://i275.photobucket.com/albums/...psfkxdt23i.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...pskprwelgl.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...pspqeg8nr7.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...pske9mqhkr.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...pslam2ckfc.jpg https://i275.photobucket.com/albums/...snzitylcs.jpeg |
Amazing build, What kind of numbers is this setup going to put down?
|
Pistons and rods in this build. Nice margin of safety. Looks fantastic!

Awesome. Why no port injection?

He was good with 950 to 980 so we didn't want to do port injection on it.
Thanks, Billy |

This is a start for me. Want to see how the car drives at this level before upping the ante. I'm afraid there will be more power than tire already, and I do like the twisties enough not to go too crazy with tires in the back that are good for one direction only. The motor is now built to take some extra power above and beyond the current goal so it doesn't need to come out of the car again if port injection is added in the near future to take the power levels even higher. As an afterthought I was considering port injection, but was already at least half way into the build and decided to let it go as is. Could be a mistake, but maybe not. We shall see. Either way I'm looking forward to see how the power curves look on the dyno after MTI does their tuning magic!

Hey Billy, Bryce here. 950 to 980 rwhp would be great, but a 1000 would be even better! For braggin rights and such. Let's wring out as much as we can out of this setup, safely of course. If 950 to 980 is tops, so be it. Would be hard not to be happy with that to!

Good luck with your build OG Pokey..

In for some numbers!

Any numbers

HOPEFULLY he told MTI to just do the port injection now and they’re waiting on parts :) |

I think 900ish will do just fine. It will most likely make close to 1000...We shall see
