What's wrong with emailing dealers with an honest email of I want to buy X car with Y options & the best price wins my business? Worked for my Hellcat. I've bought a ton of cars through email/text.

I don't think there is necessarily anything wrong with that, but he didn't email dealership internet managers, he posted a broad message on the CorvetteForum.
