Drive in the snow?
|
The snow doesn't surprise me. Towing a snowmobile does!
|
The reason I dont drive in the snow, one the salt/brine they put on the roads two the Vette will turn into a plow should the snow accumalate enough and three the idiots that drive like they are in the indy 500 and crash everywhere :flag:

My uncle used to tow his 21 foot boat with his C3. People used to stare at him pulling up to the boat launch like he's crazy, but think about how much torque these cars have. He used to tell me that pulling the boat with his Vette was easier than his pick-up truck... Now would I tow something in the snow? No way...never.

I drove my 2006 Z51 for 10 winters around Chicagoland with Pirelli winter tires. What fun drifting without burning up tires!

I drove my C5 through 7 Toronto winters, many white knuckle drives like the one pictured above (there was a layer of ice under that layer of snow you see) It's just not worth it, my C7 will never see this kind of weather. |

I don't care what you drive if you have to wait for the highway to be plowed. My C6 Z06 on Beartooth Pass/US212 in WY. |
It’s a great vehicle in the winter with winter tires. I admit I don’t drive this car in the winter as much as my M3 and S2000 (zero nannies) but only because I want to keep it pristine. |

Nope, as I have two vehicles that are practically made to be driven in the show/poor weather and are fun doing so. So doesn't make any sense to drive my GS in the snow.

All that torque and no way to put it down? No thanks. My Toyota 4x4 SUV goes through snow like it's not there.
