Scrolling and Randomly Jumping Pages
Using iPad or my iPhone...When scrolling through a multi page thread, it will randomly “jump” back several pages as a time. For example, I may be on page 5 of a thread and as I scroll along the right side, it will load page 2 or 3... Any ideas? Super annoying and asking me feel like my father - LOL Both devices are up to date with the latest IOS, etc. Thanks |
Do you have infinite scrolling enabled? Are you seeing different pages for the same thread or are they related threads? If infinite scrolling and related threads is enabled, as you scroll down you will see related threads and automatically get moved into those threads and through different pages. That is by design. You can disable that in UserCP and Edit options.
Otherwise, unless you're bumping the screen there's nearly no other way for that to happen. |
JT, I would see the same thread, but it would scroll from Last Page to random pages earlier in the same thread. Per your recommendation I disabled Infinite Scrolling and that solved it. Thanks |

Same issue here
MacBook Pro using Safari If I'm at the end of a thread and scroll up it will jump to a random spot in the thread. Not a deal breaker, just a PITA sometimes. I didn't care enough to start a thread for it but since someone did I'll #metoo this bitch. |
